About SEPROSUL
An annual, itinerant academic event linked to the Montevideo Group Association of Universities (AUGM), bringing together researchers, professors, students and professionals from South America in a program that integrates scientific papers, lectures and discussions.
Part of AUGM
Member of the network of public universities of the Montevideo Group (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Colombia and Uruguay), created in 1991.
Itinerant by nature
Each edition is hosted by an AUGM institution, strengthening South American scientific integration.

SEPROSUL 2026 will be held at the Southern Integrated Center for Coastal and Ocean Development (CIDEC-Sul), FURG's modern events center, opened in 2008. Its auditorium seats up to 1,000 people and divides into three multipurpose spaces (500 and 260 seats), with support rooms, air conditioning, projection, on-site parking and full accessibility.

Accepted papers are published in the SEPROSUL 2026 proceedings. The best papers compete for journal publication through the fast-track system.

Download the template, prepare and submit your paper via Microsoft CMT. Accepted papers are published in the proceedings (ISBN).
- Full papers of up to 8 pages (including references and appendices).
- Languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English.
- Publication in the SEPROSUL 2026 Proceedings with ISBN.
- Best papers published in journals (fast-track): 6 in Produto & Produção (issue 3) + 10 articles in the Revista Iberoamericana de Engenharia Industrial.
- Only papers presented in person are eligible for the fast-track.
- No submission fee. If the paper is accepted, one of the authors must register for the event. Only registered authors may present the paper.
- Papers may have up to 5 (five) authors; an author/co-author may take part in at most 5 (five) papers of the total submitted to the event.
- One registration covers up to 4 (four) papers. For additional papers, another author must register.
- The choice of presentation format (in person or pre-recorded video) is made at the time of registration for the event.
